Either I am getting too picky in my old SL age or I am getting too picky in my SL old age. I tried on a million demos at Skin Fair, but the one I ended up purchasing was Danae by Imabee, one of my designer favorites from last year. I just love it. I’ve also been having fun with Siddean Munro’s Dynamic hands. My fun nail polish is by the wonderful Aikea Rieko at the Liaison Collaborative.
November has always been a month that I like. November is when the leaves go dark yellow and then fall to the ground in golden pools. They then need to be raked, but if there were ever a plug for apartment living, it’s the freedom from raking. Mina Nakamura recently released her Anika hair, and it is my all time favorite hairstyle in SL. I have been wearing it for weeks.
Valentina Evangelista’s Zig Zag dress at Shiny Shabby this round was one of those impulse buys that I fall prey to once in awhile…I saw the seriously gorgeous pattern and bought it without looking very closely at it, only to put it on later to find that it allows for your girls to swing wild and free. Very 18th century France—perfect for exposing your bobbling breasts to the world. Since this is not a wild and free sort of blog, though, and because I am more of the heavy-gusseted-hardware-for-chest-immobilization type anyway, I wore one of Izzie’s marvelous tank appliers to add a little layering effect. Mina Nakamura’s flowing locks from Hair Fair were perfect for this outfit.
It’s time again for Hair Fair, an event I (and half the grid) always look forward to. I walked through the sims last night and was pleased at the space and the layout of the event…most of the designs are viewable from the sidewalk, eliminating the need to go into every booth. At an event that is so popular, the less you have to maneuver into small spaces, the better.
I am starting off with one of Mina Nakamura’s Hair Fair designs, simply because I love the lines and the way it frames the face. Mina’s textures are some of my favorites.
I’ve been wearing Aida Ewing’s Ary and Bell Catwa head appliers from Collabor88 for the last few days. I have always been an Aida Ewing fan, but these two skin appliers are particularly lovely.
