Photoshop Is Not My Friend

So I have been trying to learn Photoshop over the last few months. It hasn’t been pretty, my friends. Recently I have been learning to cut out a subject from a photo and put it into a different background. Most of the time I like to photograph right in SL, but in the interest of education, today I have used a background from a talented artist at deviantART. Here is the raw photo that I took in SL:
And here is the final copy with the new background:
So all you Photoshop experts, how did I do? Or maybe I should ask how much farther do I have to go? Smile
Here are a couple of others I did the same way:

Eyes: FASHISM ‘Sunrise’ Eyes – Light Mint (ML)
Hair: TRUTH< Jacqueline 2 – treacle
Jewelry: EarthStones Stone Donut Leather – Golden Calcite/Brown
Dress: ~*INDIE ROSE*~ Peacock Dress Brown
Shoes: NX-Nardcotix MANA Edith Bronze
