Dolly

Maxi Gossamer has released her new Little Sparrow set at a new event—the United Fashion Project. I loved the texture change options on these. and they match perfectly with my new Slink sandals from Siddean Munro. I am not sure whether Dolly Parton’s sweet album Little Sparrow was the inspiration for Maxi, but it’s always an inspiration for me. Dolly gets a lot of flack for her looks, which, if you look at her in SL terms, would not be anything out of the ordinary at all. I’ll tell you though, the woman is supremely talented and puts out some of my favorite folk and bluegrass in the world.  You can’t be angry and listen to Dolly. Try it, you’ll see.

Catch Up

It has been a few days since I was able to blog so I have a few pictures to throw in this time. To begin, one of my favorite items from Fameshed this round is the gorgeous spring dress from Valentina E.

Endra Graves opened a clothing store a couple of months ago called Gatsby’s, so Endra now offers lovely mesh clothing designs as well as jewelry, for which she is best known. This little red and black number is adorable. Also a favorite is the Millie skin from Belleza that was out for Fifty Linden Fridays last week. I look forward to seeing Millie in more tones! And if Ivey Deschanel’s gorgeous Helena dress last week wasn’t enough for you, she has also released these bold mesh earrings.

Avenue de Ternes

I lived in Paris for almost a year when I was in college. It was quite a change for a western girl like me to be in a city like that. It took awhile for Paris to work its magic on me, but work it did, and it is a city that I love dearly and that has had a great impact on my life.

Barnesworth Anubis’ new skybox reminds me a little of my apartment on Avenue de Ternes, although my little place was not nearly so lovely as this. I did have a wonderful view out my window, however, and it was just as lovely in the rain as not. I wish I had been so glamorous back then, but Maylee Oh and Jackal Ennui are keeping me glamorous now!

First of all, congrats to Aeva Nikolaidis for winning the Las Islas shells from last week! Watch for them in-world, dear!

I had a lovely day with my friend Caroline at Izzie’s main store. It was a perfectly bright and happy day. And there was so much to choose from in this color it was hard to make a decision as to what to wear, and what to give away! But at least we had fun, and we got to use a great pose from Label Motion at the POSE FAIR!
