My dad always told us that if we weren’t feeling good we should go for a walk outside. Most of the time the walk cleared my head and made me feel better. Dads know stuff. Wayward Winter ends tomorrow so if you haven’t had a chance to check it out you can still do so today and tomorrow.
Wayward Winter is open and full of winter-themed items of all kinds. Today I’ve chosen Caelan Hancroft’s beautiful Peyton necklace and earrings to accompany my outfit. Stay tuned for more from Wayward Winter in the coming weeks!
It’s been awhile since I blogged one of Luna Jubilee’s couple poses, and I am always struck by the emotional connection implicit in her designs. This one is called Take Me Places and is available for a few more days at the Men’s Dept. Thanks to Barely for helping with the pose today.
I do not look this good in the morning in RL. Nor do I participate in the morning ritual of coffee-drinking that is such a tradition with so many. But if I could look this good…well, I’d take it. Yes, I would.
Instead of my very sensible (and ugly) teacher shoes and clothes I would be snazzy and elegant in this beautiful outfit, including needle-thin spikes, from Giz Seorn. Instead of a big old tote bag in which I stuff my books, tests, papers (both graded and ungraded) and my lunch, if I remember it, I would sport the gorgeous leather handbag from Zenith. And instead of…well, let’s just say that my hair in RL does not bear speaking of. Here in SL, though, the gifted Kavar Cleanslate keeps me presentable.
I love the Elevator pose prop from RubyStarlight Writer at Exposeur. My friend Barely kindly agreed to help me out with this photo. There are several poses included in the elevator ranging from sweet to more Aerosmith-type elevator imaginings. The first one is my favorite—separate, polite, but at the same time a little intense.
My sky-high heels are from L. Warwick and can be found at My Slink Obsession.
This post title expresses my exact desires with regards to today’s photos. After erasing my photos not once, but twice after I had edited them, I finally just decided to throw them up and not tempt fate a third time.
My Slink Obsession is still going on and today I am wearing the lovely Rock Candy fingernails—some of my favorites at the event. And who can help but love any shoe that Betty Doyle releases? These sweet sandals are for the Slink Mid Feet.
At any rate, my mood went along nicely with this song from the Madden Brothers. And I love the video.
